- Maybe it has something to do with the 4-colour settings in your palette prefs.
- When you boot up with the ECS or OCS chipset, the screen mode is probably only
- 4 colours. If these are all very dark it could cause the problems (the fact
- that everything works OK seems to suggest that it's just the palette thats all
- black).
